About Me

Starting out as a young teacher in a multi-aged, non-traditional classroom taught me way more about children and learning than my college experience. These ideas were sharpened as I homeschooled my two sons, and worked with other homeschool families to provide guidance to parents and classroom experiences for students. I believe that authentic learning is unique to each individual. Students should be allowed to grow at their own pace and in their own time.

My services are for people who believe that real learning does not look like the paradigm of traditional school settings. I focus on people who want something different for their students; students who have struggled elsewhere will find success here.

About My School

Location: 514 State Ave, Suite 108, Marysville, WA

Full time Private school: Monday through Friday 8 am to 3 pm

Homeschool Extension: Evenings, appointments individually arranged

We typically serve 25 students each year; each multi-aged class is approximately 8 students to 1 teacher. We meet with parents at the end of each quarter to discuss progress and problem solve any issues that we may be having. Parents may request additional meetings at any time.

Standardized and non-standardized testing is available in the summer, as well as tutoring, and credit recovery.
